Melissa Sue Trammell

Melissa Sue Trammell, age 43 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Lake Cumberland Reginal Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 15, 1980 the daughter of Johnny Dewayne Trammell and Lois Jean (Thompson) Trammell. Melissa had worked as a cashier and was a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church. Fishing, Bingo, visiting family, and playing poker machines were what she enjoyed.

Her mother, Lois Jean Trammell precedes her in death.

Survivors include her father, Johnny Dewayne Trammell of Strunk, Kentucky; brother, David Trammell and wife, Theresa of Strunk, Kentucky; sister, Rhonda Tapley and husband, Ronald of Pine Knot, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Taylor Trammell. Brandie Lyons, Sierra Tapley, Ambur Trammell, Johnny Trammell, and Heaven Tapley; great nieces and nephews, Stormi Lyons, Asher Lyons, Noella Lyons, and Haisley Trammell, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family has chosen cremation.
