Maxine Gregory Hicks, age 52 years, of Monticello, Kentucky died August 14, 103 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held Thursday, August 16, 2013 at 11am in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
She was born in Marshes Siding, Kentucky on July 9, 1961 the daughter of the late Ernie and Lexie (Gregory) Vaughn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Ridge United Baptist Church.
Her parents; infant son; brother, Hank William Vaughn; and sister, Mattie Vaughn Pittman precede her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Franklin Hicks of Monticello, Kentucky; son, JR Clark Taylor of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Ronald Vaughn of Monticello, Kentucky, ‘Tob†Glenville Vaughn of Stearns, Kentucky, Randall Vaughn of Corbin, Kentucky, Gary ray Vaughn of Stearns, Kentucky, Donald “Jake†Vaughn of Stearns, Kentucky; and sisters, Lora Mae Vaughn of Monticello, Kentucky, Nellie Gray of Stearns, Kentucky, Ellen Linda Ledbetter of Whitely City, Kentucky, Myrtle Lynn Vaughn of Stearns, Kentucky, Geneva Ann Shelton of Bardstown, Kentucky.
