Mary West

Mary Lou West, age 72 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died May 3, 2019 at Signature of Colonial in Bardstown, Kentucky.

She was born in Plato, Kentucky on February 18, 1947 the daughter of Lottie L. (Mize) Lynch. Mary was a member of the Marshes Siding Church of God, had worked in sewing factories and enjoyed flower gardening and going to church.

Her mother; step-father, John Lynch, Jr. whom raised her as his own; husband, Clarence “Bud” West; and sister, Judy Lynch precede her in death.

Survivors include her sister Carolyn Faye Foster and husband, Ardell of Stearns, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Spradlin officiating. Burial to follow in the West Ridge Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
