Mary Elizabeth Shelton

Mary Elizabeth Shelton, age 40 years, of Dallas, Georgia, died Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Hiram, Georgia.

She was born in Mt. Clements, Michigan on August 21, 1980 the daughter of Walter J. and Marc J. (Diehl) Shelton. Mary had worked as the head bartender for St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta, was a tennis player, enjoyed spending time with her friend’s children, animals, crafting, camping, fly fishing, and going to the shooting range with her Dad.
Survivors include her parents, Walter J. and Marc J. Shelton of Dallas, Georgia; brother, Walter J. Shelton, Jr. of Indiana; sisters, Crystal R. Shelton of Sandy Springs, Georgia and Stacey A. Hartigan and husband, Jeff of Naples, Florida; nieces, Hadlynn Aline Hartigan and Hensley Darcy Hartigan; and a family friend, Patrick O’Grady.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes she was cremated. A graveside Memorial Service will be held 3pm Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Pleasant Knob Cemetery in Parkers Lake, Kentucky.
