Mary Lou Jones, age 65 years, Pine Knot, Kentucky died November 21, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Brown and Bro. Billy Duncan officiating. Burial was in Hickman Cemetery. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 24, 1945 the daughter of the late Theodore Kenneth Roberts and Edna Mae Waters Roberts Gibson. She was a retired factory worker and member of Pleasant Rock Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Jones and her parents. Survivors include her children Ronnie (Karion) Shelley, Revelo, Kentucky; Kenneth Ball, Dalton, Georgia; William Wesley (Lindy Welch) Ball, London, Kentucky and Rachel Mae Ball, Pine Knot, Kentucky. The surviving brothers and sisters are Jimmy Roberts, South Carolina; Bill Roberts, Stearns, Kentucky; Frank Roberts, Louisville, Kentucky; Jewell Stephens, Williamsburg, Kentucky; Wilma Jones, Stearns, Kentucky and Ruth Roberts, Pine Knot, Kentucky. Five grandchildren survive, Shane Ball, Devin Ball, Billy Shelley, Jayne Lynn Shelley and Halee Ann Shelley. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
