Marvin Ralph Barnett

Marvin Ralph Barnett, age 75 years, of the Worley Hilltop Community, died June 18, 2018 at the Somerwoods Nursing Home in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Yamacraw, Kentucky on March 17, 1943 the son of the late Leonard and Grace (Ross) Barnett. He had worked as a car sales man.

His parents and wife, Lena Faye (Watson) Barnett precede him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Loren Barnett (Jean) of Oneida, Tennessee, Bobby Barnett (Stephanie) of Lancaster, Kentucky, and Michael Barnett of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Carla Coffey of Stearns, Kentucky; brothers, Carl Barnett and Rodney Barnett both of Etna, Ohio; sister, Reba Elkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Higginbotham Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the funeral home.
