Marie Grundy Richter

Marie Grundy Richter, age 95, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

She was born on May 11, 1921, the daughter of the late Hal and Lula (Brooks) Bryant.  Marie was a homemaker who spent her life servicing and helping others.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother: Kelly Bryant, grand-daughter: Twila.

Surviving family include her husband: Stanley Richter, Whitley City, son: Ronald Grundy, Whitley City, grandchildren: Ronnie and Tabitha.

Marie enjoyed reading the bible, vegetable and flower gardening and fishing, but her passion was helping people, she was a member of the Revelo Church of God.  Marie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, we trust our loss is heavens gain.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Family will receive friends Friday at 11:00 am until time for funeral services at the chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest at Lower Cal Hill Cemetery.
