Margie "Faye" Lee Crabtree

Margie “Faye” Lee Crabtree departed from this life on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Baptist Health Hospital of Corbin, KY, having attained the age 71. She was born in Pine Knot, KY on September 28, 1944, daughter of the late Herman and Flossie (Hatfield) Richmond.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter: Pamela Crabtree, three brothers: Jim, Henry, and Jerry Richmond, three sisters: Louvella Richmond, Virginia Stephens, and Roberta Perkins, one grandchild: Lilyann Crabtree.

Surviving family include her loving and devoted husband, Bill Crabtree whom she was married to for 55 years, four sons: Kenneth Crabtree of Pine Knot, KY, Mike and Kim Crabtree of Stearns, KY, Jeff Crabtree of Pine Knot, KY, Mark and Jennifer Crabtree of Parkers Lake, KY, one brother: David Richmond of Oneida, TN, three sisters: Donna and Johnny Stephens of Maryville, TN, Lucille Richmond of Big Sandy,Texas, Linda Richmond of Whitey City, KY, thirteen grandchildren: Gidget Slaven, Cody Crabtree, Kendra Fogleman, Justin Wilson, Courtney Crabtree, Chelsea Erwin, Stephanie Ball, Kyle Crabtree, Katilyn Crabtree, Shelby Baird, Marcus Crabtree, Kacie Crabtree, Heaven Blanton,  seventeen great –grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.

Faye was of the Church of God Faith; she was a Homemaker who loved her family more than life itself. She enjoyed gardening, painting, sewing and animals especially birds and deer.  She was the most giving and loving person with the sweetest smile and heart of gold. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services: Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home.

Visitation: Sunday, November 1, 2015 6:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial: Crabtree Family Cemetery.
