Magolia Dick

Magolia Dick departed from this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Signature Health Care of McCreary County, being 87 years, 27 days, and 3 months old. She was born in Keno, Kentucky, on August 23, 1930 to the late Everett and Agnes (Maxwell) Nevels.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: George Dick, brother: David Nevels, sisters: Myrtle Bryant, Donna Sue Jones, Clyda Spradlin, Roberta Waters, and Margaret Messer.

Surviving family includes: sons: Paul and wife Donia Dick of Whitley City, KY, Tommy Ray Dick of Whitley, City, KY, daughter: Anna Jean Alford of Stearns, KY, brothers: Litton Nevels and Paul Nevels both of Whitley City, KY, sister: Elizabeth Young of Corbin, KY, grandchildren: Steve and wife Cathy Taylor, Randell and wife Becky Taylor, Amanda and husband Bill Watson, Melinda and husband Preston Perry, great grandchildren: Amber and Austin Taylor, Payton and Memphis Taylor, Jordan and Leah Watson, Lakota and Kristen (Autumn) Perry, and great great grandson: Braylen Taylor.

Magolia was a Maid at Cumberland Falls State Park and was a member of the Flat Rock United Baptist Church.  She loved talking on the telephone, laughing and enjoying life. She treasured her grandchildren and family. Magolia will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home officiating Bro. Ronnie Peters, and Bro. Jeff Brown.

Visitation: Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 12:00 Noon-2:00 PM at the McCreary County Funeral Home.

Burial: Angel Cemetery
