Mae Bryant

Mae Bryant, age 82 years, of Marshes Siding, Kentucky, widow of Bobby Bryant, Sr., died Sunday, June 19, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Sandhill, Kentucky on January 31, 1940 the daughter of Leslie and China (Perry) Bryant.  Mae had worked as a cook for the McCreary County School System and was a member of the Whitley City Church of God.  She enjoyed doing crafts, that at one time she ran a Macramé Shop.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Bryant, Sr.; brothers, Harold Bryant, Randy Bryant, and Arless Bryant; and sisters, Opal McHone and Penny Lakes.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby Bryant, Jr. (Caroline) of Lexington, Kentucky and Jeff Bryant (Liza) of Maryville, Tennessee; sister, Elva Perkins of Stearns, Kentucky; grandchildren, Cody Bryant, Mitchell Bryant, Alex Bryant, Jefferson Bryant, and Alliza Bryant.  

Funeral services will be held 2pm Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Whitley City Church of God with Bro. Bruce Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitley City Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Thursday at the Church.
