LYLE CRAIG McDONALD

Mr. Lyle Craig McDonald, age 55, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 6, 1959, he was the son of Donald Dean and Emma (Chitwood) McDonald.  He is preceded in death by  a son Brian Wayne McDonald, and a brother Michael Jay McDonald.

Surviving family include his mother Emma McDonald of Florida, his father Dean McDonald of Ohio, a daughter Alicia Ann McDonald of Pine Knot, a sister Sheri Kay McDonald of Jacksonville, Florida, a brother Jeffery Wayne McDonald (and Sherry) of Stearns, Kentucky, and seven grandchildren.  He has an uncle John Chitwood of Marshes Siding that he considered a father figure.  Lucille Watters was the love of his life.

Lyle loved watching the UK Wildcats Basketball and Nascar.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A private graveside service was held Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the McCreary Memorial Gardens in Whitley City, Kentucky
