Luster Harold Bryant, age 74 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died August 14, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 2pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Scottie Corder and Bro. Billy Duncan officiating. Burial was in the Old Pigeon Cemetery.
He was born in Sandhill, Kentucky on April 5, 1938 the son of the late Harrison and Aggie (Cox) Bryant. He was a logger, member of the Sandhill United Baptist Church and McCreary County Search and Rescue.
His parents; an infant daughter; brothers, Johnny Bryant, Andy Bryant, and Doc Bryant; and sisters, Elma Z. Bryant, Lizzie Murphy, Laura Jane Hansford, Zola Taylor, Eva Lynch and Goldie Watson precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Irene (Lewis) Bryant; and son, Luster J. Bryant and wife Billie both of Whitley City, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Tyler, Brittany, Bridgette, Brianna, Brooklyn, and Bryson also survive.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
