LOUIS DEAN ROSS

Louis Dean Ross age 66 of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Friday, February 17, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rick Wilson and Phillip Stephens officiating. Burial followed in the Perkins Cemetery in Winfield, Tennessee.

He was born February 6, 1946 in Winfield, Tennessee to Jess Ross and Ellie Mae Murphy Ross. Louis made his living as a logger.

His father, mother, and daughters, Mary Lou and Elizabeth Kay Ross precede him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Harold Dean Ross of Monticello, Kentucky, Jeff Ross of Stearns, Kentucky, Louis Ross, Jr. of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Bobby Joe Ross of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Becky Davis of Whitley City, Kentucky, Sheila Ross of Smithtown, Kentucky, and Lynn Stephens of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brothers, Bobby Ross and wife, Lisa, of Winfield, Tennessee, William Ross and wife, Irene, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Estell Watson of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sisters, Mamie Watson of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Betty west and husband, Carl of Pine Knot, Kentucky; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
