Lisa Kay Stephens

Lisa Kay Stephens, age 54 years, of Somerset, Kentucky died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Baptist Health Lexington.

She was born in Oneida, Tennessee the daughter of Earl “Taterbug” Stephens, Jr and Sarah Jane (Jones) Stephens.  Lisa had worked as an X-Ray Technician for Winchester, Patton, and Burgess and For Dr. H.A. Perry, enjoyed crocheting, reading, fishing, but most especially her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of the East Appletree United Baptist Church.

She is precede in death by her father, Earl “Taterbug” Stephens, Jr; and sister, Sheila Renee Stephens.

Survivors include her mother, Sarah J. Stephens of Revelo; son, Robert “Bobby” Canada of Somerset;; daughters, Tracy Mounce (Donald) and Rebecca Baker both of Somerset; sister, Kim Martin of Lula, Georgia; and grandchildren, Madison Jernigan, Kaylee Jernigan, Levi Branscum, Nicholas Mounce, Jeremy Mounce, Elijah Canada, Malachi Canada, and Hadessah Canada.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 12, 2020 from 12-2pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Graveside services to follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist in funeral cost.
