Linda Lou Strunk, age 55 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died March 3, 2012 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. James Cox and Rev. Bill Clark officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery.
She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on June 17, 1956 the daughter of Lewis Harvey and Flora Mae (Tapley) Boyatt. She was a School Teacher at the Whitley City Elementary School and a member of the Ross Grove United Baptist Church and the Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Strunk of Whitley City, Kentucky, parents, Harvey and Flora Mae Boyatt of Stearns, Kentucky, son, Danny Allen Strunk and wife Angel of Whitley City, Kentucky, and sister, Karen Lee Creekmore of Strunk, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Natalee Elizabeth Strunk and Dexter Allen Strunk also survive.
