Leo “Pete” Edwin Bolin, age 79 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia.
He was born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky on February 14, 1940 the son of Harrison “Harry” Bolin and Emma Myrtle (Keith) Bolin. Leo had worked as a spike driver on the Southern Railroad, was a member of the Church of the Living God, and enjoyed outdoors, being with family and grandbabies, teaching others how to work on cars, and attending church.
His parents; wife, Sharon (West) Bolin; daughters, Annette Bolin Gillenwater and Edwinna Loudermilk Nicholson; son, Stewart Duncan; brothers, Lee Bob Bolin, James Bolin, and Frank Bolin; and sisters, Dollie Davis and Kathern Stanton precede him in death.
Survivors include children, Shane and Samantha Loudermilk, Edwin and Daisy Loudermilk both of Pine Knot, Sherril Bolin of Covington, Roberta Lyons and fiancé, Tim Hill, Newton Loudermilk both of Pine Knot, Paula Manley of Somerset, and Danny Loudermilk of Georgia; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at 12pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Burton officiating. Burial to follow in the Pine Knot Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 6pm Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
