LENVIL M. DAUGHERTY

Lenvil M. Daugherty, age 87 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died February 17, 2013 at his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Willis Troxell and Bro. Norman Burke officiating. Burial was in the Josh Wilson Cemetery.
He was born in Strunk, Kentucky on February 14, 1926 the son of the late Maynard and Essie (Strunk) Daugherty. He was a machine operator for the railroad, member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, VFW, American Legion Post #115, and Orie S. Ware Masonic Lodge #874.
His parents; wife, Edna Bernice (Slaven) Daugherty; and sister, Agnes Daugherty precede him in death.
Survivors include his brother, Jesse Aaron Daugherty; sister, Irene Burchfield, and special nephew, Anthony Slaven and wife, Sheila all of Strunk, Kentucky. Grandchildren, Brandon and Sarah Slaven and Brittany and Joshua Branscum and great granddaughter, Emme Branscum and lots of nieces and nephews also survives.
Masonic service provided by Orie S. Ware Lodge #874.
