Lenard "Peach" Dorman Gibson

Lenard “Peach” Dorman Gibson, age 72 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on May 24, 1952 the son of the late Jack and Gracie (Smith) Gibson. Peach had been a registered nurse, was of the Full Gospel Faith, and served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Reading, Carpentry, and Artwork were his favorite past times.

His parents; and brothers, David Gibson, Jimmy Gibson, and Donald Gibson precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Corena (Ross) Gibson of Pine Knot, Kentucky; son, Shane Gibson (Tammie) of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Shedara Gibson of Lexington, Kentucky; sister, Louise Gibson of Whitley City, Kentucky; grandson, Gavin Catron; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11am Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Angel Cemetery.
