Lena Jo Smallward, 55 years, Whitley City, Kentucky died January 8, 2010. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro.Rufus Hughes and Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in Smallward Cemetery. She was born at Barthell, Kentucky on January 26, 1954 the daughter of the late Hiram and Goldie Manning Perry. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her parents and her brothers, Hiram Perry, Jr. and Billy Spradlin precede her in death. Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Smallward and her children, Theodore Smallward and wife, Florence, Albany, Kentucky; Teresa Troxell and husband, Allen and Dottie Smallward, Whitley City, Kentucky. The surviving brothers and sisters are, Kenneth Perry and wife, Ella, Marshes Siding, Kentucky; Donald Perry and wife, Audrey, Whitley City, Kentucky; Joyce Roysdon and husband, Ernie and Ruby Stephens and husband, Chuck, Winfield, Tennessee. Two grandchildren, Michael Troxell and DaVon Campbell survive. Twostep grandchildren and four stet great grandchildren survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
