LENA MAE PERRY

May 16, 1932 — April 1, 2013

Lena Mae Perry, age 80 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died April 1, 2013 at home.  Funeral services were held Thursday April 4, 2013 at 1pm at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Warman and Bro. Marvin Kates officaiting.  Burial was in the Farris Cemetery.

She was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on May 16, 1932 the daughter of the late Othel and Tavie Jane (Vanover) Rollins.  She was a cook for Cumberland Falls State Park for a number of years, and attended the Greenwood Church.

Her parents, husband, Thomas William Perry, one son-in law JR Ross,  five brothers, Donnie Rollins, Denzil Rollins, Arnold Rollins and wife Haley, Basil Rollins and Grover Rollins, sister-in-law Doris Rollins, one sister, Evelyn Rollins and one brother-in-law Jr. West, one grandson, Christopher Vanover, precede her in death.

Survivors include one son Starlin O. Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Three daughters, Mary Jane Jones and husband William, Beatrice Vanover and husband Ben, and Linda Ross all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, one brother Denver Rollin of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, one sister Bertie West of Rushville, Indiana; sister in laws, Marie Rollins and Mary Rollins both of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, 9 grand daughters, 15 grandsons, 13 great grandsons, 10 great grand daughters, and 1 great-great grandson also survive.
