Lena Grimsley Jones

Lena Irene Grimsley Jones age 53 years of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, died on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Marlar Cemetery.

She was born December 11, 1957 in Honeybee, Kentucky to Hazel Marie (Ridener) Jones and Alex Lonzo Jones. Lena was a homemaker.

Her father, mother, a son, Donnie Jones, brothers, Don Jones, Roy Jones, and Ronnie Jones, a sister, Wanda Louise Rose, and a sister-in-law, Yvonna Jones precedes her in death.

Survivors include her children, Duane “Bang Bang” Jones of Tiffin, Ohio, Rick Rose of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, Charles Rose of Whitley City, Kentucky, Genelle (King) Davis of Whitley City, Kentucky, Linda Phelps and her husband John, of Sloans Valley, Kentucky, Melissa Gregory of Whitley City, Kentucky, Luther Cye Jones of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Leslie Rodus and his wife of Gabrielle, of Lincoln County, Kentucky, John Frank Jones of Sloans Valley, Kentucky, and Crystal Jones of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; grandchildren, Angel Jones, Wilbert Gregory, Harlie Garland, Paige Phelps, Alex Rodus, and Josh Rodus;  brothers, William Jones and his wife, Jannie, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, David Jones of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Harold Jones and his wife, Judy of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, and Alex Jones and his wife, Faye, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sister Amanda Sue Jones; a daughter-in-law, Sharie Jones of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Helen Jones of Somerset, Kentucky; a brother-in-law, Hobby Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.
