Leamon Spradlin

Leamon Spradlin, age 74 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died July 4, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Strunk, Kentucky on May 18, 1944 to the late Hobert and Vertie (Gregory) Spradlin. Leamon had worked as a Lift Truck operator at the Acme Warehouse. He was a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church, he enjoyed singing and going to church, and listening to old time preaching.  The greatest joy in his life was his family.

His parents; son, Brian Spradlin; and sisters, Joyce Privett, Bonnie Stephens and brother, Leonard Gregory precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife Jureda (Posey) Spradlin; son, Jason Spradin and wife, Stephanie of Strunk, Kentucky; daughter, Yvonne Minton and husband, Billy of Horse Cave, Kentucky; daughter in law, Mary Anne Belarmio-Spradlin of San Francisco, California; brothers, Harold Spradlin of Strunk, Kentucky, Jack Spradlin of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Bob Spradlin of Strunk; sisters, Juanita Stephens of Sidney, Ohio, Deanna King of Bronston, Kentucky, and Kathy Spradlin of Strunk; grandchildren, Jordan Posey and wife, Shea, Jessca Posey, Allison Canada and husband, Cody, Jaden Paige Spradlin, Ryan Spradlin, and Aryanna Spradlin; and great grandchildren, Rosslyn Posey and Aurelia Posey.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 12pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Neal, Bro. Billy Minton, and Bro. Stacey Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Jesse Privett Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6pm Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
