Larry Wayne Daugherty

Larry Wayne Daugherty, age 69 years, of Oneida, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on June 21, 1950 the son of John and Eldora (Wilson) Daugherty. Larry had worked as a welder, was a member of Freewill Pine Knot Baptist Church, and had served his country in the US Army. HE enjoyed being home, reading, watching TV, and mowing. 

His parents; brother, Leon Daugherty; and sister, Bonnie Ball precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Judy F. (Harness) Daugherty of Oneida; sons, Johnnie Daugherty (Mindy) of Helenwood and Brian Daugherty (Hailey) of Huntsville; daughter, Brenda McGee (Scotty) of Oneida; sister, Sandy Carter of Lawrenceburg; sister-in-law, Virgie Strunk of Huntsville; brother-in-law, Ovova Harness (Glenna) of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

Per the Governor’s request, private funeral services will be held with Bro. Boyd Rowe officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
