Krystal Carol Jakes

Krystal Carol Bryant Jakes was called to Heaven Thursday, August 26, 2021 to be with her father, Glenn Bryant, her brother, Kenneth Bryant, and sister, Chasity Bryant. She is survived by her mother Linda Henry, stepfather Larry Henry, husband Kristopher Lee Jakes and two daughters, Alyssa Bailey Hagewood and Maleigha Kaysee Hagewood.

Krystal was the devoted wife of Kristopher and loving mother of Alyssa and Maleigha Hagewood. Her family also included 6 dogs and 2 cats. At home with her family was Krystal's happy place. As some of her animals aged and the health care problems mounted, she trained herself to be a proficient vet tech to keep them comfortable through their later years. As a talented photographer, Krystal was the mom to do everyone's senior portraits and many friends and clients weddings. She had a gift for putting together beauty. She was also talented in cosmetology and went on to represent some of the make up lines she loved.
Krystal was known far and wide for being a true friend. She had a forgiving heart and an ability to look past her friends' worst days. She helped many people get on their feet at down points in life. She was happy to provide a meal, a bed, and plenty of laughs to anyone she found in need, be they human or animal.
She will be forever missed by her family and friends.
A visitation for Krystal will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee. A visitation will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Goodlettsville, Tennessee. A a celebration of life service will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
