KEVIN EUGENE HICKS

Kevin Eugene Hicks, age 38 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died December 17, 2013 at his home.  Funeral services were held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 11am at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Yancey and Bro. Dow Goodin officiating.  Burial was in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.

He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on January 8, 1975 the son of Robert Henry Hicks and Patricia A. Darling.  He was associated with the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church and loved to fish and work on old cars.

His wife, Nancy Hicks precedes him in death.

Survivors include his father, Robert Henry Hicks of Newcomb, Tennessee; mother, Patricia A. Darling of Pine Knot, Kentucky; step mother, Willie Hicks of Newcomb, Tennessee; brother, Bobby Ray Hicks of Greeneville, Tennessee; step brothers, Bruce Dople and Rodney Dople both of Newcomb, Tennessee and Greg Dople and Chris Dople both of Williamsburg, Kentucky; step sisters, Lisa Rookard of Woolridge, Tennessee; Sherry Zecchini of Newcomb, Tennessee, and Patricia Coyt of Jellico, Tennessee; and special aunts and uncles, Minnie Haag, Verdie Batman, Linda Colwell, Alvin Hicks, and Carlos Hicks.
