Kenneth John Mason

Kenneth John Mason, age 63 years, of the Smithtown Community died Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Scott County, Tennessee on May 26 1961 the son John and Vergie (Slaven) Mason. Kenneth was a member of the House of Prayer, but after closing he attended the Marshes Siding Church of God. He loved to attend Just Family Adult Day Health Services were he “aggravated” throughout the day, playing lottery scratch offs, whittling, talking to people, yard work, but especially playing with his great niece.

His parents precede him in death.

Survivors include his sister, Karen Wilson and husband, Roger of Whitley City, Kentucky; niece, Mason Olivia Wilson; great niece, Olivia "Pumpkin" Troxell; and aunt, Volena of Oregon.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Nate Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Angel Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
