KELLY "RED" MARCUM

April 17, 1950 — June 18, 2013

Kelly “Red” Marcum, age 63 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died June 18, 2013 at his home.  Funeral services were held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Wightman and Rev. David Troxell officiating.  Burial was in the Stearns Cemetery.

He was born in Oneida, Tennessee April 17, 1950 to the late Kelly Eugene and Margaret Leon (Wright) Marcum.  He was an antique dealer, member of the Stearns First Baptist Church, Owner Bargain Barn, former McCreary County Deputy Sheriff, Kentucky Colonel, photographer, retired Tecumseh employee, former owner of Little Red’s Restaurant and Ice Cream Shop, and member of the CB Club.

His parents; brother, Ford Marcum, and good friend, Milford B. Creekmore 1st precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Emma J. (Stephens) Marcum of Stearns, Kentucky; daughter, Melissa Lynn (Marcum) Strunk and husband, Bobby of Stearns, Kentucky; brother, Robert Michael Marcum of Oneida, Tennessee; and sister, Peggy Odessa Marcum of Stearns, Kentucky.  Grandchildren, Kyle Strunk, Aaron Helton, Sean Strunk, and Kelli Strunk, and great grandchildren, Jackson and Raylan Strunk also survive.
