Judy Carol Cordell, age 64 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died March 18, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Corder officiating. Burial was in the Jones Cemetery.
She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 20, 1948 the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Abston) Duncan. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Her parents; one son, Tony Cordell, two brothers, Curtis Duncan and Glen Duncan, four sisters, Wilda Duncan, Mary Helen Lowe, Kathy Sexton, and Wanda Cordell precede her in death.
Survivors include a son, Tim Cordell of Bronston, Kentucky, a daughter, Sandy Joseph of Franklin, Indiana, two brothers Billy Duncan of Pine Knot, Kentucky and Bobby Duncan, Helenwood, Tennessee and three sisters, Lorene Day of Huntsville, Tennessee, Peggy Musgrove of Revelo, Kentucky and Phyllis Lyons of Williamsburg, Kentucky three grandchildren, Angel Sargent Kidd, Cherish Sargent Johnson, and Matthew Sargent and one great grandchild Alexis Johnson.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted the arrangements.
