Joshua Anthony Parsons

Joshua Anthony Parsons, age 39 years, of Cincinnati, Ohio died Saturday, May 25, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 1984 the son of Paul Anthony Perkins and Verna Lilan (Parsons) Penny. Johsua had worked as a metal fabricator in commercial HVAC industry.  He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, working on cars, and searching Facebook marketplace for his next project car.

His mother, Verna Lilian (Parsons) Penny precedes him in death.

Survivors include his father, Paul A. Perkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandmother, Anna Perkins of Pine Knot, Kentucky; daughter, Josie Rose Parsons of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers, Michael Penny (Star) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mathew Penny of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brock Perkins of Williamsburg, Kentucky; sisters, Crystal Penny of Cincinnati, Ohio, Rebecca Greenlee (Anthony) of Corbin, Kentucky, and Breanna Strunk (Nicholas) of Whitley City, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 6pm Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Hansford officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive friends after 4pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
