Jonathon Kent Yancey, age 31 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died February 4, 2012 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 4pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Gilreath, Rev. Leslie Gilreath, and Rev. Scotty Corder officiating. Burial was in the King Cemetery.
He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on January 25, 1981 the son of Kenneth and Connie (King) Yancey. He was a truck driver and a coal miner and grew up in the Revelo Church of God.
His grandparents, Vernon and Printy Yancey and Edgar and Cynthia King and a brother Kenneth Edgar Yancey precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Rebecca (Watson) Yancey, son, Jonny Yancey, daughters, Amber Yancey and Allison Yancey, father and mother, Kenneth and Connie Yancey, brother, Kenny Ray Yancey, sisters, Tabitha Corder and husband Scotty and Lisa Kates and husband Jason, father and mother in law James and Susan Watson, and brother and sister in law Scotty Watson and April Lovitt and husband Mark all of Stearns, Kentucky.
