John Bernard Weaver, age 83 years, Parkers Lake, Kentucky died October 16, 2010. Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Rollins officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Knob Cemetery. He was born at South Fork, Pennsylvania on June 19, 1927 the son of the late John and Edith Jordan Weaver. He was a telephone technician. He served in the U.S. Army. His wife, Alma Price Weaver and his parents precede him in death. David Weaver is the deceased son. The deceased brother is Bill Weaver and Madeline Christian is deceased sister. Survivors include his children, Charles Weaver, Sesser, Illinois; Michael Perry, South Korea; Debbie Taylor and Sheila Goins, Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive. Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 115. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
