John A. Foster, age 62 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died at his home September 30, 2011. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 3, 2011 at 12noon in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Spice and Rev. Mike Gregory officiating. Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
He was born in Dixie, Kentucky on October 20, 1948 the son of the late John Granville Foster and Reba (Thomas) Little. He was the owner of Somerset Electronics, member of the Whitley City United Methodist Church, president of the United Methodist Men, and loved his church and family.
His parents precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Janie (Daugherty) Foster, daughters Melanie Foster-Chaney and Brittany Foster all of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brother Eddie Little of Allegan, Michigan, and sisters Janet McGaha and husband Roger of Wilmington, Ohio and Denise Milbocker of Allegan, Michigan.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
