Joan S Dobkins

Joan S. Dobkins, age 72 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died January 12, 2018 in Somerset, Kentucky at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born November 19, 1945 the daughter of the late Odell Lynch and Mattie (Taylor) King. Joan was a member of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church, and enjoyed cooking and outdoors.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Lynch and Wanda Lynch.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Dobkins and Coy Dobkins both of Whitley City, Kentucky and Tim Dobkins of Columbia, Kentucky; brothers, Don Lynch of Marshes Siding, Kentucky and Bob Lynch of Blanchester, Ohio; and sisters, Sylvia Manning of Blanchester, Ohio and Betty Webb of Whitley City, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. David Troxell officiating. Burial to follow in the Taylor Ridge Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 11am Monday until funeral service time at the funeral home.
