JIMMY D. SPRADLIN

Jimmy D. Spradlin, age 74 years, of Strunk, Kentucky died October 27, 2013 in Rome, Georgia at the Floyd Medical Center. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ogleby officiating. Burial was in the Darris Spradlin Cemetery.
He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on January 19, 1939 the son of the late Darris and Fronia (Privett) Spradlin. He was a water treatment operator and a member of the Murphy Ridge Church of God.
His parents; brothers, Ronnie Spradlin and Lendell Spradlin; sisters, Betty Spradlin, Wanda Spradlin, and Delta Spradlin and 1 great grandchild precede him in death.
Survivors include his companion, Brenda Payne, Stearns, Kentucky; sons, Michael D. Spradlin and wife Debbie of Strunk, Kentucky and Chuckie Payne and wife Vicky of Corbin, Kentucky; daughters, Cheri Spradlin and husband Dewayne of Strunk, Kentucky, Regina Knight and husband Rick of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Donna Stevens and husband Calvin of Strunk, Kentucky; sisters, Faye Jeffereys and husband Frank of Ohio, and Margaret Unsicker of Pine Knot, Kentucky, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.
