JIMMY MICHAEL SMALLWARD

Jimmy Michael Smallward, age 68 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died in Oneida, Tennessee at the Pioneer Community Hospital on December 21, 2013. Funeral services were held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell and Rev. Tommy Tapley officiating. Burial was in the Smallward Cemetery.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 7, 1945 the son of the late Ted Sheldon and Cora (Lynch) Smallward. He had worked at Kingsford; a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church; served in US Army during the Vietnam War and was a recipient; of a Purple Heart and loved to fish and hunt.
His parents; and wife, Lena (Perry) Smallward precedes him in death.
Survivors include his son, Theodore Smallward and wife, Autumn of Albany, Kentucky; daughters, Dottie Smallward and fiancé, Zack Mingo and Teresa Troxell and husband Allen both of Whitley City, Kentucky; and 6 grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
