JIMMY DALE DOBBS

Jimmy Dale Dobbs, age 54 years, of the Rattlesnake Ridge Community died October 20, 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday October 24, 2010 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Stewart Jones and Rev. Cyrus Byrd officiating. Burial was in the Sherd Dobbs Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECIEVE FRIENDS AFTER 6PM SATURDAY OCTOBER 23, 2010 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Scott County, Tennessee on January 29, 1956 the son of the late Gurstle and Clovie (Gregory) Dobbs. He was a machine operator at OVC and a member of the Cherokee United Baptist Church. His parents precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Linda (Rowe) Dobbs, sons Joshua Dale Dobbs and Caleb James Dobbs, brothers Donald Dobbs and wife Kathy all of Stearns, Kentucky and Victory Dobbs and wife Lois Jean of Mishawaka, Indiana, and sisters Evelyn Coffey and husband George and Sue Coffey and husband Donald both of Stearns, Kentucky. Mother-in-law Shirley Rowe and 4 nieces and 3 nephews also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
