Jerry Wayne Ridner, age 40, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015.
Jerry had worked for Monticello Hardwood and Flooring Company. He had attended schooling for air and refrigeration in Cincinnati. He enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed camping and doing anything outdoors.
He was born March 3, 1974, in Somerset, Kentucky, to Herman and Fontella (Swain) Ridner. He is preceded in death by his father Herman Ridner. His wife Amanda Rose (Turner) Ridner is also deceased as well as a sister-in-law Sandra Ridner.
Surviving family include his mother Fontella Ridner of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, his children; Dustin Ridner, Kasi Hastings (husband David), Tiffany Ridner (and Brandon Strunk) and Mackenzye “Tessa” Ridner, all of Parkers Lake, a sister; Brinda Campbell (husband Kenneth), brothers; Wayne Ridner, J.J. Ridner (wife Doris) and James Ridenour (wife Karen) all of Parkers Lake, grandchildren; Raylen Ridner, Anthony Jaxson Ridner, Brantlee Strunk, and Kyson Hastings.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Perry officiating. Burial will be at the Marler Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until time for services.
