JERRY DWAYNE JONES

Jerry Dwayne Jones, age 59 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died April 3, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Thursday April 7, 2011 at 12 Noon in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell and Bro Ronnie Peters officiating. Burial was in the Rock Springs Cemetery. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIEND AFTER 6PM WEDNESDAY APRIL 6, 2011 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 11, 1951 he son of Brock P. and Patsy M. (Winchester) Jones. He was owner of the Shady Lane Restaurant and JerryOs LP Gas, and a member of the Marsh Creek Baptist Church. His son Brock D. Jones and brother Robert B. Jones precede him in death. Survivors include his wife of 42 years Hazel B. (Phillips) Jones, parents Brock P. and Patsy M. Jones, and son Sean Jones and wife Samina, daughters Cynthia OSisO Troxell and husband Wayne all of Stearns, Kentucky and Sylvia Murphy and Wallace Simpson of Monticello, Kentucky, and sister Linda Vaughn and huasband Doug of Stearns, Kentucky. Grandchildren Cassie (Jones) and Randall Stevens, Jordan, Erica, Jonathan, Samuel, Tadessa, Gavin, James (Jamy) Murphy, Natasha Murphy Lawler and husband Ian Lawler, Luke and Zack Toxell, Matt Troxell, and Samantha, Shadara, and Maria, great grandchildren, Daneille Murphy, Aaliyah Lawler, Hunter and Aubrey, daughter in law Mary Jane Jones, and sister in law Shanna Jones also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
