Jean Stevens, 72 years, Pine Knot, Kentucky died October 27, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Friday, October 29, 2010 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. David Troxell officiating. Burial was in Stevens Family Cemetery. VISITATION AFTER 6:00PM THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2010 AT THE FUNERAL HOME. She was born at Williamsburg, Kentucky on April 11, 1938 the daughter of late Damon and Sarah Steely Wiseman. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Hubert Stevens, Sr. and her parents precede her in death. Buddy Wiseman is the deceased brother and Edith Wiseman is the deceased sister. Survivors include her children, Jerry Stevens, Parkers Lake, Kentucky; Hubert Stevens, Jr.; Carolyn Faye Rose, Whitley City, Kentucky; Virginia Watson Taylor, Oneida, Tennessee and Wanda Mayne, Corbin, Kentucky. The surviving sisters are Barbara Wiseman, Chicago, Ill. and Ruby Sumner, Covington, Kentucky. Twelve grandchildren and twenty- three great grandchildren survive.
