Janice Carol Hines

Janice Carol Hines, age 68 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Stearns, Kentucky on July 6, 1948 the daughter of George and Georgia (Dolen) Owens. Janice had been a caretaker for Quest, was a member of the New Liberty United Baptist Church, and enjoyed crocheting and fishing.

Her parents and a son, Joe Hines precede her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Thomas “Peanut” Hines and wife, Tamara of Monticello, Kentucky and Michael Scott Hines and wife, Marsha of Oneida, Tennessee; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 27, 2017 at 8pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Thompson and Bro. John Duvall, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday, February 27, 2017 after 6pm at the funeral home.
