Janice Fae Ball

Janice Fae (Ross) Ball departed from this life on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky, being 72 years, 3 months and 13 days old. She was born in Whitley City, Kentucky on January 19, 1943 daughter of the late Donald and Zelma (Foster) Ross.

She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.  Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In high school she was awarded the most athletic in her senior class, she loved bowling, playing softball, along with a host of other sports.  

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby D. Ross.

Surviving family includes two daughters; Melanie King of Whitley City, KY, Lisa Trammell and husband (Steve) of Winfield, TN, brother; Gerald R. Ross, of Falmouth, KY,  sister; Frances Ball of Whitley City, KY, three grandchildren; Chelsea Erwin and husband (Calvin), Joshua King, and  Stephanie Ball whom lived with her for quite some time, they had a very special bond with one another, two great grandchildren; Brentley Strunk, and Nolan Erwin.   

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 6:30 PM in the Chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home. The McCreary County Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
