James Herbert Vanover

James Herbert Vanover, age 87 years, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Oneida, Tennessee.

James was born in Honey Bee, Kentucky on February 27, 1931, the son of the late Everett Vanover and Laura Bolton Vanover, widower of Virginia Swain Vanover.  James was a member of Beulah Heights  Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett Vanover and Laura Bolton Vanover and his wife, Virginia Swain Vanover, brothers, Hubert Vanover, Levi Vanover, sisters, Eva Perry Alpha Reed and Elizabeth Sloane.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Vanover, Pleasant Plains, Ohio, Herl Vanover, Mason Ohio, Archie Vanover, Parkers Lake, KY, sisters, Flora Stauder, Pleasant Plains, Ohio and Wanda Cole, Butlerville, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Dan Ridener officiating.  Burial to follow in the Sawyer Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 12:00 pm until time for the service at 2:00 PM at the Church.
