JAMES DEAN VANOVER

James Dean Vanover, age 58, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.

He was born September 28, 1956, to the late Howard and Opal (Clark) Vanover.  Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Helen Perry.

Surviving family include his sister Sheila Vanover of Parkers Lake and two brothers; David Earl Vanover (and wife Jill) of Parkers Lake and Howard Jackson Vanover (and wife Pat) of Indianapolis, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

James had worked in maintenance at sawmills most of his working life as well as working on cars which he enjoyed very much.  He was a member of the Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Dow Goodin officiating.  Burial will be at the Solomon Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time for services.
