Jackie Dennis Spradlin

Jackie Dennis Spradlin, age 69 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Saturday, June 15, 2024 at his home.

He was born in Strunk, Kentucky on April 18, 1955 the son of Hobert and Vertie (Gregory) Spradlin. Jack had worked as a Dry Kiln Operator for Jim Barna Log Home, a Truck Driver, and was a member of the Dixie Freedom Baptist Church. Being outdoors, riding his motorcycle, playing pool, but most especially being with his family were his favorite times in life.

His parents; brothers, Leonard Gregory and Leamon Spradlin; sisters, Joyce Privett and Bonnie Stephens; and grandchild, Paige precede him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patricia Susan (Barker) Spradlin of Pine Knot, Kentucky; children, Diana Simpson (Mark) of Huntsville, Tennessee, Michelle Day of Somerset, Kentucky, Timothy Spradlin (Barbara Lake) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Ginger Trammell (Daniel) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Melinda Spradlin (TJ King) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Emily Bryant (Matthew) of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Denise Spradlin (Shane MacDonald) of Lenior City, Tennessee; brothers, Harold Spradlin and Bob Spradlin both of Strunk, Kentucky; sisters, Juanita Stephens of Sidney, Ohio, Deanna King of Bronston, Kentucky, and Kathy Spradlin of Strunk, Kentucky; grandchildren, Charity (Adam), Marcus, Tequila (William), Arthur, Cheyenne, Betty (Jacob), Samuel, Destiny (Alex), Timothy Jr., Brylee, Jacob (Brittany), Justin (Bailey), Kyle, Caleb (Gracie), Chris, Aaron, Sophia, Isaiah, Elijah, Millard Scott, Makayla, Jacklenn, Piper, Emmie, Layton, Kinsley, Maddox, and Audrey; and 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Calvin and Bro. Presley Spradlin officiating. Burial will follow in the J & P Spradlin Cemetery at home. The family will receive friends after 6pm Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
