Homer Waters

Homer Waters, age 76 years, of Stearns, Kentucky died June 5, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Wednesday June 9, 2010 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Rufus Hughes and Rev. Clifford Crabtree officiating. Burial was in the Angel Cemetery. Family will receive friends after 6:00 PM. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born in Co-Operative, Kentucky on January 31, 1934 the son of Clarence and Lula Tapley Waters. He was a steel mill worker and a member of the Roberts Chapel Church. His parents, brother Austin Waters, and sisters Pauline Waters; and Fayrene Daugherty precede him in death. Survivors include his wife Ruby Phillips Waters of Stearns, Kentucky, and daughter Kathy Keith and husband George, Whitley City, Kentucky, brother Earl Waters, Revelo, Kentucky, and sisters Christine Spradlin, Lorene Coffey; and Wanda Coffey all of Stearns, Kentucky. The grandchildren Kimberly Ross; Angelia Keith; Joshua Keith; and John Keith, and great grandchild Ethan Keith also survive. McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
