Homer Floyd Taylor, age 60 years, of Sawyer, Kentucky died Monday August 22, 2011 at his home. Funeral services were held Friday August 26, 2011 at 1pm in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Goodin officiating. Burial was in the H & J Family Cemetery.
He was born in Sawyer, Kentucky on September 28, 1950 the son of the late Oakley A. and Milda Mae (Hamilton) Taylor. He was a machinist for Car Tool Company and of the Baptist Faith.
His parents, brother Lee Hamilton and 2 infant brothers, and grandson Christopher Adam Eubanks precede him in death.
Survivors include his wife Janice (Perkins) Taylor, son Oakley Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughters Sherry Eubanks and Alicia Taylor, and sisters Carol Tahaney and Shirley Rollins all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky. Granddaughter Amber Mae Taylor also survives.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
