Helen Marie Perry

Helen Marie Perry, age 82 years, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home in Hustonville, Kentucky.

She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 20, 1935 the daughter of Warnie and Jeanie (Frazier) Sparks.  Helen had owned a clothing store, was of the Pentecostal Faith, loved yard sales, flea market, family, and church.

Her parents; husband, Joseph Perry; brothers, Joe Sparks and Charlie Sparks; sisters, Minnie Gentry, Betty Voigt, Nancy Grimes, and Libby Malone precede her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Darrie Ray Perry of Stanford, Kentucky and Joe Perry of Junction City, Kentucky; daughters, Doretha Ann Perry of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Patricia Parker of Eubank, Kentucky, Uneida Perry Johnson of Hustonville, Kentucky, Debbie Helton of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Cynthia Mastalka of Danville, Kentucky; brothers, Frank Sparks of Georgia, Kenny Sparks and Jerry Sparks both of Ohio; sisters, Dorothy Roseberry, Shirley Van De Pas (Bill), Barbara Watkins, Diane Walls, Mary Neal all of Ohio, Stella Hinkle of Florida, and Alice Johns of Texas; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren;; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 11am in the McCreary County Funeral Home with Sis. Diane Wright and Bro. Dean Spradlin officiating.  Burial to follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6pm Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the funeral home.
