Grover Lee Rollins age 67 of Parkers Lake, Kentucky died Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Pleasant Knob Baptist Church with Bro. Dillard Bryant and Bro. Doug Sexton officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Knob Cemetery.
He was born May 12, 1944 in Sawyer, Kentucky to A.O. Rollins and Tavie Jane (Vanover) Rollins. Grover was of the Baptist Faith and had formerly worked as a logger.
His mother and father, sons, Othar Ray Rollins and Randell Lee Rollins, brothers, Arnold, Basil, Donold, and Denzil Rollins, sister, Elvayln Rollins, and brother-in-laws, Jr. West and Thomas Perry, precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rollins; sons, Ronald Rollins and Delbert Rollins; brother Denver Rollins, all of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; sisters, Lena Rollins Perry of Parkers Lake, Kentucky and Bertie Rollins West of Shelbyville, Indiana; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
McCreary County Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
