Gilbert Clark

Gilbert Clark, 94, Muncie, passed away Monday evening, August 16, 2021, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 18, 1926, in Whitley City, Kentucky, the son of Hulen and Ida (Jones) Clark. Gilbert worked as a machine operator at Chevrolet Muncie and retired in 1985. Gilbert honorably served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna (Burkes) Clark; several children; one brother, Dillard Clark; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2021, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor David Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
