Geraldean F. Ridner

Geraldean F. Ridner, age 69 years, of Whitley City, Kentucky died Saturday, October 5, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Isham, Tennessee on November 10, 1954 the daughter of the late Clifton and Minnie Virginia (Strunk) Threet. Geraldean enjoyed going to bingo, running the roads, family, but especially her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Leo Ridner; brother, Ralph Threet; and sister, Mary Vanover.

Survivors include her son, Darrell Threet (Heather) of Whitley City, Kentucky; daughters, Becky Gibson (Jordan) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Jamie Corder (Brad) of Whitley City, Kentucky, and Bobbie Bryant (Jerry) of Pine Knot, Kentucky; brothers, Rick Threet of Stearns, Kentucky and Arnold Threet of Whitley City, Kentucky; sister, Debbie Parriman of Pine Knot, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jonathan Chriswell (Miriam), Kahlia Waters, BrantLee Corder, Kye Corder, Rhylee Corder, Dalton Threet, Jeremy Bryant, and Joshua Bryant; and great grandchildren, Iris, Gracie, Jordyn, and Jozie.

Funeral services will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Nate Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Vanover Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
